Welcome to the new regional Jitsu Canada websites. For those of you familiar with the Jitsu Ottawa site there are many similarities -- you can add photos, add forum topics, add other pages, but there are some new goodies too:

• Simpler menu structure
• New "View Info From:" block -- more on that below

Also there is some new material on the site, such as:

• Detailed kata descriptions
• Some descriptions and photos of katame-waza

Go to "Jiu Jitsu Info" on the menu to view this info. Any registered user can add their own favourite techniques to this info.

I encourage all members of Jitsu Canada to register on this site. That way you can see all the photos and start adding your own stuff.

Some things may not be working perfectly yet. If you find anything broken or have any comments please contact me.

What is the "View Info From:" block?

There are now 4 regional Jitsu Canada sites: Jitsu Alberta, Jitsu Kingston, Jitsu Ottawa and Jitsu Peterborough. They all share the same info and photos but can have their own logo and visual style. But maybe you do not want to see all the Jitsu Kingston info (about revised schedules, social gatherings etc) if you live in Alberta. Now you can select how much info you want to see. Just click the sites you want (or all) and "Change View" and you'll see more info.
